The Abandoned Fireworkshop
Using the initial 3D Model of Salome Vandereyt as inspiration, I now attempted to create my own original location with the use of 3D (Autodesk Maya and Sketchfab), as well as a digital paintover using Photoshop. From what was initially the Abandoned House, now became the Abandoned Fireworkshop.
The Process
References and initial concepts for the Abandoned Fireworkshop.
From left to right, initial 3D blocking was done to finalize the composition of the piece (with some 3D assets initially obtained from Sketchfab). Asides from that, assigning of material, and rendering of lighting were done in Autodesk Maya. The rightmost picture then provides some initial paintover attempt in Photoshop.
Final digital paintover was done in Adobe Photoshop with final layout and text done in Canva to show the concept and design process of the whole piece.
