Great question!!

There’s a saying: “Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder”.

This is the same for value! Value is in the eyes of the beholder.

If my problem was that I was thirsty and I was at home, the solution—water—would be easy to get. Not really that valuable.

However, if I were in a desert and there was only one water bottle left, I would do anything to get it. Super valuable.

The same applies to any other problems.

• A loved one getting cancer

• A dream wanting to become true

• A desire to be certain amidst doubt and uncertainty

A person may see the size of their problem and would do anything for that problem to be solved ASAP, such as paying $10k.
