The Process
References and initial concepts for the illustration.
Final lineart for the illustration. As this was my first illustration, I needed to break down the full pose in the top left from the main body to the inclusion of the clothing, accessories, and weapon.
Initial rendering for the illustration. The right contained the colors in their ambient occlusion, and the left contained the colors used for the diffuse reflection of the illustration.
Final rendering of the illustration. As it was my first full body illustration, I was proud of what I did. However, now knowing better, I definitely could’ve improved on the detailing of everything, especially on how the gold, boots, and cloak looked.
